Where are you based and do you travel?

I reside full-time in Iowa City, IA and often spend time at home in Arizona with family. I'm willing to travel to any of the surrounding states in the Midwest and any part of the Phoenix-Metro area when I find myself in Arizona, and will do what I can to accommodate further travel plans (COVID permitting!) If you don't ask, the answer is already no, so just shoot me a message and we'll figure something out!

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 4 weeks (usually less because once I shoot a session, I get just as antsy as you!) You can then download all the photos from the gallery, as well as share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!

How many pictures will we receive?

The number of pictures depends on the type of session you have requested! Larger families require more combinations of people therefore more photos than a single grad session for example. We will work together on deciding a picture minimum and maximum prior to your shoot and it will be reflected in your contract and pricing! Don't fret, we are a team!

How does the editing process work?

Once your session has ended, I personally go through and choose the shots I'd like to edit for your final gallery. I will edit every photo I've selected and often give a copy of each photo in black-and-white as well. Once you've received the link to your session's gallery, you are free to post them, print them, etc., however, no further editing can be done to the photos once they are sent to you. Part of my job is editing, and booking a session with me goes with the understanding that you are agreeing to my editing style and what makes me as a photographer stand out! This will also be highlighted in your contract you sign and submit at booking.

What about COVID or if I get sick?

Great question! Your safety and my safety are the #1 priority. Unfortunately, we do live in unprecedented times and ignoring the pandemic simply doesn't work! For this reason, I will be wearing a mask during all sessions unless otherwise deemed unnecessary by the CDC and ask that you and any members of your session have not been in contact with or shown symptoms for COVID-19 within 14 days of your session. If in the event you or someone in your home or session does test positive or you have been exposed, PLEASE let me know and I will gladly reschedule! There's no rush!

Click the link below to be redirected to my 'Contact' page where you can submit the form to start booking your session! Once I've received your request, I will review your requests and reach out to you via email within 3-5 days. From there we will discuss specifics such as number of photos, location, date/time, outfits, pricing, etc. I then will send you a copy of the contract and all of the finalized details. A signed and submitted contract as well as 50% of your total balance for the session is required to hold your spot on my calendar and your booking won't be complete until this has been done. The remainder of the balance will be due on or before your session!
