Hi, I am Rebecca!

I am a 25-year-old University of Iowa Child Life Graduate Student who has always had a love for people and a love for all types of art. I finally decided to take charge of my talents and not be ashamed or fearful of what people might think and have combined those loves with my knack for photography. What started as a fun way to capture personal memories over 10 years ago has since flourished into showcasing the beauty and perfection of all of the clients whom I meet! How freaking cool, right?!

I am a dog lover, a long-time musical theater performer and singer, an advocate for mental health and ending the stigma surrounding invisible illnesses, a service dog handler, and cold-weather loving kind of gal!

9 years in Minnesota, 10 years in Arizona, and now going on 6 years in Iowa City, my feet have traveled many miles, and even still I've yet to see it all! I took a chance in leaving everything behind in Arizona to start school at the University of Iowa all by my lonesome. The fear of the unknown was exhilarating! Here I've struggled with my mental health, found what it means to love who you are and what you are doing, formed friendships that have survived even a pandemic, and become the best version of myself I can possibly be. I'm grateful for the opportunity to take chances, and an almighty God who will catch me if I fall.

When not behind the lens, I work with children with a variety of disabilities, spend lots of time snuggling with my dogs Delilah and Pru, and play piano, ensuring every day my life is filled with music and love from beginning to end!
